Our Benefits

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
Overton Chicago Gear is 100% employee-owned. All employees
are eligible to receive stock after one year of service. The
plan is designed as a Savings/Retirement Plan.
Health
Insurance
The company provides health insurance through Blue
Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois for eligible employees and
dependents. The package offers three options which are a
PPO, HMO and HCA.
Dental Insurance Delta
Dental is our dental provider and we offer both a PPO and
HMO to eligible employees and dependents.
Vision Plan The
company offers vision insurance through VSP, Vision Service
Plan. Both in-network and out-of-network doctors and
benefits are available.
Life Insurance
Overton Chicago Gear provides all employees’ life and
accidental death and dismemberment insurance at no cost to
the employees.
Supplemental Life Insurance
Employees and eligible dependents have the opportunity to
purchase supplemental life insurance which is payroll
deducted on a weekly basis.
401(k) Plan
Overton Chicago Gear provides a 401(k) investment plan through Fidelity Investments. Employees who elect to participate are eligible for a company match of 50% up to the first 5% of eligible compensation.
Vacation and Holidays
After meeting the hiring criteria, employees are eligible for vacation time based on years of service. In addition, eligible employees will receive 12 Paid Holidays each year, which include the employee’s Birthday and a Floating Holiday.
Employee Assistance Program
Free, confidential counseling and referral services are
available to all employees and their immediate family
members for a variety of personal issues.
Flexible Spending/Dependent Daycare
Account
Use this voluntary benefit to set aside tax-free dollars to
pay for certain kinds of medical, dental and daycare
expenses that insurance doesn’t cover.
Aflac® Supplemental Disability Benefits
Voluntary supplemental disability protection is available
for employees to purchase at group rates.
